What a great visit, Sabastion and staff were friendly and invited us in. We enjoyed shopping for Opals and have an excellent meal in the cafe. I have never been to a rock shop can do both! I will return for sure.

I was looking at opals to put in an engagement ring setting but knew little about them. In my research I found that the most prized opals come from the mines in Lightning Ridge. I searched several sites to see what the market looked like and price points. When I came across Black Lightning Opals I liked the selection and prices but what really sold me was the outstanding customer service I received from Sebastian, from prompt answers about inventory availability to receiving my stone in 24 hours from Switzerland. I'm amazed that is small business had so many high grade opal ! much better stones than opals down under and cheaper. A bit disappointing that they were out of jewellery though. They tell me some more are coming in next month.
